About Me
I am willing to provide a more permanent babysitting service or an emergency/ad hoc service immediately. The service can include supervising play or organising fun activities for them (crafts, baking, sports, boardgames/puzzles, reading/book-related activities) homework help, light meal prep, escorting to/from school and activities (if within walking distance). If discussed I am also happy to help with pets (mealtimes/dog walking) and light housework.
My Experience
I have worked at 2 summer camps in the last 2 years and volunteered as a teaching assistant at a Saturday Polish School for children for a number of years as a teenager.
At the summer camps we worked in small teams with children primarily aged 5-11. I supervised either pre-planned activities or activities we came up with as a team (impromptu or organised). This consisted of crafts, large indoor and outdoor games and sometimes supervised trips (to zoos, the local park, etc.). These roles also consisted of following safeguarding procedure and cleaning up after the children throughout the day (sometimes getting them involved).
My Qualifications
My only qualifications are my past experience (I am happy to go into greater detail if reached out to and to provide contact details if references are wanted). I do not have any formal childcare qualifications or a current PVG/DBS check - I am happy to look into obtaining one at the request of a guardian if necessary.
