About Me
My name is Jemma and I am a registered Childminder based in Canton, Cardiff. I am a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years) and I am registered with the CIW, South East Wales Region (Care Inspectorate Wales). I have full public liability insurance and I have completed numerous courses to enhance and improve my childcare service. The courses I have completed are the CACHE Certificate in Child Care and Education Work with Babies, CACHE Diploma level 3 In Child Care and Education, Level 3 Diploma for Children’s Care, Learning and Development, Level 2 Award in Food safety in Catering, Pediatric First Aid (12-hour course), Child Protection. My training is ongoing and I ensure that I take advantage of any relevant training courses that will improve my knowledge in Child Care and improve my childcare business.
I can speak and understand basic level welsh but my setting is predominantly English with some use of Welsh.
My Experience
I have worked as a registered nanny for over 15 years, gaining lots of experience working with young babies and children of all ages. Over the years i have worked for lots of professionals such as GP's and consultants etc. I love my job and have met some wonderful families, i feel very blessed.
