My name is Vicky, I'm 34 years old and I've worked within the childcare sector for 18 years. I have a true passion for working with children. I believe learning through play is key to a child's development.
My Experience
I have worked with a wide range of age groups from newborn all the way through to 12 year olds.
Ive worked in nurseries and also do nannying along with babysitting.
I have worked with children with physical and learning difficulties such as autism, ADHD, global delay, sensory processing disorder, hyper mobility syndrome, cerebral palsy and who require speech and language therapy. I have also looked after children with medical conditions such as Gastroschosis and Epilepsy.
Within my childcare career I have been room supervisor for baby, toddler and pre-school rooms and third in charge management role.
I've also gained lots of certificates through my training, some include jolly phonics aswell as managing children's behaviour. Ive completed food hygiene, introduction to childhood illnesses & understanding meningitis. I have completed a child protection course and then went on to complete child protection advanced, following that I have completed my DSL training. I have done a FGM awareness course and channel training. Plus many more, please feel free to ask.
