My Experience

I've been doing part time babysitting for the past 5 years. I’m comfortable looking after ages 6 months plus alone, or under 6 months with parents nearby. I’m the older sister to two much younger siblings, so being around children and helping them is very natural to me!

My Qualifications

I am have an enhanced DBS carried out in 2026.

I have my own car with a full and clean manual UK license.

I'm friendly and reliable, and love playing games and talking with the kids. I’d be happy to take them out to the park or a museum, and could do a school pick up or drop off. I can do some light cooking and cleaning or homework help. I’ve done many bedtime routines, and can sit with them or read to them til they fall asleep.

I've done tutoring before, mainly in maths, up to GCSE level. I've worked in a secondary school for a month (a teaching experience internship) where I helped with reading and was a classroom assistant. I’ve also worked at a summer school through Newcastle University for teenagers. I underwent a lot of safeguarding and wellbeing training for these, as well as giving me further experience with kids, including those with SEND.

I have experience helping out at parties and events, preparing and serving food & drink, and then cleaning up after, so would be happy to help with that! Also light household cleaning like hoovering, tidying, laundry l'd be confident to help with.

My Availability

Open to any hours and days, however due to my own varying schedule such as being away for a week at a time, I’m not looking for regular weekly jobs. I prefer ad hoc work, date by date. I could also fill in for the occasional dates that another more regular babysitter can’t make.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

From £13/hour - I charge slightly more for SEND, very young children, or jobs including household cleaning.
