About Me

Hi, I'm Carmen and I run Little Seedlings Childcare, Meltham. I live with my 2 children, our two cavachon dogs and our rabbit. I provide a warm and nurturing environment for your little ones, keeping numbers low, so I can provide the care needed. I have chosen to adopt a hygge approach, where I have just finished working towards becoming Hygge In The Early Years Accredited.

My Experience

My whole life has been centred around children.
My mum was a Childminder throughout my childhood, so I have extensive experience of both being a child in a childcare environment and also assisting her as I grew up. I have 3 children of my own, one who has now flown the nest and two who live at home. We have two gorgeous Cavachon dogs, Pumpkin and Pippa, who love being around the children and enjoy joining in our adventures and our rabbit, Phoebe, who the children adore.
We spend a lot of time outdoors where the Little Seedlings soak up nature and the environment around them and they will often bring their treasures back to the Little Seedlings Hub to extend the fun.

I am currently studying an Early Years Degree. I have safeguarding level 3, paediatric first aid, food hygiene and GDPR certificates. I have just completed my Hygge in the Early Years Accredited training.

Full time hours Monday to Thursday 7.30am-5.30pm and Friday 7.30am -12.30pm. Please contact me for my day rate.
