Family looking for

1. Occasional babysitting cash in hand, mostly evenings

2. Carers to support a 9 years old girl with severe learning disabilities and complex epilepsy.
The position offers flexibility, with approx 8 hours a week during term times and 16 hours during school holidays.
The hours will be spread depending on the needs and your availability, this includes some evenings and weekends.
The position is a 2:1 caring role.
Full training provided.

About the position -
You will be employed and will receive payslips
£14.96 p/h
Full DBS is an advantage, however this will be arranged for the successful candidates
Full training provided, including personal care, epilepsy management and medication administration
Flexi 8 hours per week during term times, and 16 hours per week during half terms. The hours can fluctuate week by week.
2:1 support, meaning you will work alongside another carer

About the client -
9.5 years old, happy, bubbly, active girl who needs supervision at all times
Non-verbal, however she is able to express her needs and preferences when prompted
Profound global developmental delay with ADHD and autistic traits
Complex epilepsy, especially active during sleep
On pads, she requires 360 degrees personal care assistance
Loves music, books, animals, sensory play, baths and jumping on trampoline
Great sense of humor, she loves someone who can make her laugh

About the candidate -
A patient, funny, caring and energetic person who interacts with the client positively and proactively
Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and family
Epilepsy training and SEN experience preferred but not essential
Must be driving and be fairly local
