About Me
I am a 31 year old fully qualified doctor in an NHS Paediatrics training programme. I am currently in an Out of Programme (similar principle to a Sabbatical) period, while I relocate my training programme post from the South.
My husband and I are now based near Harrogate and I grew up in Yorkshire, enjoying time in rural settings throughout my life.
During this current period of time, I am seeking to use my experience with babies and children as a babysitter to provide flexible paid employment and some continuity. I would like to work with a family with whom I can integrate into seamlessly and provide a calm, warm presence.
I am aware that I would need to register with Ofsted to hold a role as a nanny, should a position require this.
My Experience
Previously worked with children in medical (e.g. NHS hospital - Neonatal unit and Paediatric wards) and non-medical settings (e.g. summer camps for public school children in the South; after school clubs for children with a diagnosis of Autism). As an obvious caveat, this work would not be in my capacity as a doctor.
