A mother of three children both with autism, one with high-functioning autism, and one child with low-functioning autism. I have a 7 month old They are fun-loving funny children that love to play games.
My Requirements
I am currently seeking a reliable and experienced Ofsted-registered nanny with a strong background in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
I have three children:
Two older children who are both diagnosed with autism and require understanding, patience, and tailored support to meet their individual needs
A 7-month-old baby who will also require attentive and nurturing care throughout the day
I am looking for a nanny to work approximately 30–40 hours per week on a consistent, long-term basis.
The role will involve:
Providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for all three children
Planning and carrying out age-appropriate and sensory-friendly activities, particularly suited to children with autism
Assisting with daily routines, including feeding, naps, and general care for the baby
Supporting my older children with structured play, communication, and emotional regulation where needed
Light household duties related to the children, such as preparing meals, tidying play areas, and helping maintain an organised routine
As I work from home, I need someone who is confident working independently while also communicating well with me throughout the day. It’s important that the nanny is proactive, patient, and genuinely passionate about working with children with additional needs.
Ideally, the candidate will:
Be Ofsted registered (or willing to become registered)
Have proven experience working with children with autism/SEN
Be trustworthy, organised, and reliable
Be able to create a calm, structured, and positive environment
This is a very important role within our family, and I am looking for someone who can become a consistent and supportive presence in my children’s daily lives
