About Me
I’m Kim, a registered childminder based in Redhill, near the hospital, with over 16 years of experience working as a private nanny.
After many years caring for children in family homes, I have now started my own childminding setting from home, allowing me to offer a warm, consistent, and nurturing environment where children can feel truly comfortable and secure.
I am registered through a Childminding Agency, fully DBS checked, and trained in paediatric first aid and safeguarding. I provide a safe, caring space where children are supported to learn, develop, and grow in confidence through a balance of structured activities and child-led play.
My approach is gentle and responsive, focusing on each child’s individual needs, routines, and interests. I believe in creating a calm, home-from-home environment where children feel valued, supported, and happy.
My own young child is part of the setting, which helps create a relaxed, family-style atmosphere and supports social development in a natural way.
I offer care for children aged 1–4 years, Tuesday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm, and I accept 15 and 30 hour funded childcare places. I also provide healthy, home-cooked meals throughout the day.
I understand how important it is to find the right childcare, and I aim to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families.

My Experience
I have over 16 years of experience working in childcare, primarily as a private nanny caring for children from infancy through to early years.
Throughout my career, I have cared for multiple children at once, confidently managing routines, activities, and individual needs within a busy family environment.
I have extensive experience supporting children through key developmental stages, including establishing sleep routines, weaning and feeding, and guiding children through potty training with patience and consistency.
I have previously been Ofsted registered on two occasions, giving me a strong understanding of childcare standards, safety, and best practice within a home-based setting.
I have consistently maintained up-to-date paediatric first aid training and safeguarding knowledge throughout my career, ensuring I provide safe and responsive care at all times.
Alongside my nanny roles, I have also provided regular babysitting, allowing me to adapt to different home environments and build strong, trusted relationships with families.
More recently, becoming a parent myself has further strengthened my hands-on experience and understanding of children’s individual needs, routines, and development.
I am proud to still be in touch with a number of the families I have worked with over the years, which I feel reflects the strong relationships and trust built during my time with them.

My registration is supported by a Childminding Agency, who ensure my training and professional requirements are kept up to date in line with current standards.
My Availability
I currently offer childcare from Tuesday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm.
I provide full-day care within these hours, offering a consistent and structured routine for children throughout the day.
I also occasionally offer ad hoc evening or weekend babysitting, subject to availability.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
My standard childminding rate is £75 per full day (8:00am – 6:00pm), which includes all meals, snacks, and nappies if required, and any daily activities or outings.
I offer full-day care to provide children with a consistent routine and settled environment throughout the day.
My hourly rate is listed as £7.5 per hour in line with platform requirements.
Babysitting is available from £12 per hour, subject to availability.
