Amazing with children

We are very lucky to live close to Saskia,and when we found out she is a childminder and a babysitter, couldn't be happier. We can always count on her when we need help with our two young children,and she provides the best care every single time. Saskia is very creative with the kids,and after she leaves,they start asking,when is the next time they can have a "playdate" with her. I also see her with the children she minds in the parks and at playgroups,and can admit she is very involved and all her attention is on the children.

An exceptional, creative, and deeply caring childm

We cannot recommend Saskia highly enough. Our daughter spent nearly a year in her care (starting from age 18 months), and the progress she made in that time was remarkable. Saskia is far more than a childminder; she is a dedicated educator who cares deeply about the children she looks after.

Creative & Educational Environment
What sets Saskia apart is her incredible creativity and effort. She constantly transformed her home to keep things exciting—whether it was building a pirate ship in the living room, setting up a grocery store, or creating a “science lab.” She put immense thought into educational activities tailored to the children's specific needs, even doing independent research outside of working hours to support our daughter’s growth and wellbeing.

Holistic Development
Our daughter thrived across all dimensions under Saskia's care:
● Academics & Language: Saskia made learning numbers fun, inventing games like spotting digits on buses, buildings, and license plates. Our daughter really enjoyed this and kept on playing them with us. She also made amazing progress in her language skills, as Saskia encouraged her to express herself and constantly taught her new words and expressions.
● Social Skills: By taking the children to various playgroups and organizing playdates, Saskia taught them how to interact beautifully with others. She built a wonderful group dynamic where the children learned to be kind to one another.
● Enrichment & Nature: They spent a lot of time outside exploring the nearby park to learn about plants and animals, alongside carefully chosen trips to museums, art galleries, and exhibitions. Saskia is incredibly knowledgeable about the arts and shares her passion for them with the children.
● Creativity: A huge variety of arts activities—painting, handicrafts, and Play-Doh—strengthened our daughter's fine motor skills and imagination.

Professionalism & Peace of Mind Saskia always put safety first. She is incredibly responsible and kept us updated throughout the day or during pick-up. We always had the feeling our daughter was in the best possible hands.

The two of them formed a very special bond; our daughter was always happy at drop-off and clearly enjoyed every moment of her time there. We feel Saskia has prepared her perfectly for her next steps at nursery.

We strongly recommend Saskia to any parent looking for a caring, responsible, and proactive childminder.

A Truly Exceptional Childminder

Saskia has been truly exceptional with our little boy.
He started with her at just ten month-old, and from the very beginning, Saskia brought an incredible energy into his life. She has a natural gift for connecting with children and understanding them on a deep level.
Thanks to her extensive training, she also offered us invaluable advice on how to best support our son’s development—particularly with his language, emotional regulation, and overall growth.
Her care is highly personalised and thoughtful. She carefully tracks each child’s progress and consistently provides a wide variety of engaging activities and outings, all designed to help them flourish.
We are deeply grateful to Saskia. You can trust her completely with your child—she’s someone who does this work with heart, dedication, and genuine passion. Out of all the childminders we met, Saskia stood out immediately. She’s not like the others—she’s truly exceptional.

Our best decision for Childcare

Saskia took care of our 15 months old boy with the best care. I highly recommend her, she’s been a very stable, entertaining and listening figure for him.
Our son always felt comfortable expressing his personality in a caring and learning environment appropriate to his development. He is very happy to go to Saskia’s place which is very important for us. Saskia also keeps learning about children’s development on the side by following seminars. I could discuss with her all the small challenges you can face with a toddler, which was very helpful at home as well. Communication was always excellent, and she’s been asking regularly what we felt needed extra attention on the learning (e.g. when our son hit the « throwing everything » phase, we’ve been working on helping him regulating it).
Our son is now 22 months old, and Saskia has gained our complete trust! We also entrusted our 4yo on Wednesday afternoon with her after school as he loves it. It was our best decision for childcare.

Great experience

I highly recommend Saskia as a nanny/childminder, she is brilliant! My son has autism, and Saskia was obviously experienced and handled his unusual behaviour very well, she knew when to let him do his own thing and when to set the limits, which is rare, especially on the first meeting. Perfect communication, cosy welcoming space, lots of books and games, and Saskia was calm, confident and friendly. We're looking forward to having her help again soon.
