Hi,
My name is Tiffany, I am 19 years old from West Sussex, I currently work at a nursery with children ages 4 months- 4 years old.
Childcare has always been a passion of mine, I grew up with women who also had a great passion for childcare. I would describe myself as a huge extrovert ( hence why I love working with children I’m just as loud as them sometimes haha)
Some of my hobbies include
Playing the piano
Reading books
Going to gym classes
Swimming
My Experience
I have been working with children in a private nursery for 13 months now. I typically work with children ages 1-4
My job roles include:
Changing nappies
Meal times
Taking the children into the garden to do lots of fun activities
Playing and interacting with children at all times
Ensuring the child’s welfare is paramount
Tidying all the mess after our fun activities.
I also like to ensure that all children are developing different skills and knowledge from the activities I provide for example babies ages 0-2 typically need help with fine motor skills, I tend to do lots of activities that include pushing, squishing, twisting ect.
Children ages 2-4 I like to organise fun activities that also introduce things such as numbers colours letters.
But most importantly I ensure the children are having fun!
I am currently working towards my childcare level 3.
I am also first aid trained
