My Experience
I started working in childcare by babysitting for a family with young children before progressing into nursery work. I completed my Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship alongside gaining hands-on experience caring for children of different ages and stages. I then moved into nannying, where I spent 3 years caring for two siblings aged 3 and 6. This involved everything from school/nursery runs and preparing meals to homework, activities, bath and bedtime routines and keeping the children’s areas tidy. I’ve also gained experience caring for babies and toddlers, both in nursery settings and as a nanny, and I really enjoy supporting children through their early development.
I’m now looking to return to nannying as I love the close relationship you can build with a family and being able to provide consistent, personalised care for their children.
My Qualifications
I currently hold a level 2 qualification in childcare, I also have a valid first aid training and many more completed courses.
My Availability
I am looking for a full time position.
