Dear Families,
My name is Reka and I’m looking for a part-time, live-out nanny position, ideally 3 full days per week, but I’d consider 4 days as well. The little girl I look after at the moment is going to nursery, so we unfortunately have to part ways.
I have 12 years experience, DBS check and First Aid certificate. My priority is to raise happy, content and independent little people. I’m caring, warm, patient and responsible.
I’m experienced with responsive/gentle parenting and I have knowledge of Steiner and Montessori education. I don’t use technology around children and I’m keen on keeping up their general curiosity about the world around them. I believe music is important and very beneficial from a young age, I sing a lot and I’m happy to take your little one(s) to a music class nearby. I enjoy taking children to different activities, classes, parks, playgrounds, library, softplay, do yoga and organise playdates. I’m quite oudoorsy, so I enjoy spending time with them in the woods and parks. However I don’t believe in too much stimulation and I try to create a rythym for the day where there’s space for inhaling and exhaling, which means every active perod is followed by a calm and relaxing period, so children don’t get overstimulated, they stay balanced and ready to have fun after a bit of rest. I’m familiar with traditional, vegetarian and vegan diet as well.
My English is fluent and I have right to work in the UK. In my personal life I enjoy contemporary art, music, good books, yoga and I’m interested in naturopathy and alternative therapies.
Unfortunately I can’t accept after-school positions, as I’m looking for full/almost full days. I’m happy around pets in the house and willing to walk a dog.
I live below Alexandra Palace, so I’m looking for a family to work with in Hornsey, Crouch End, Muswell Hill, Highgate, Alexandra Palace, Haringey Ladder, Finsbury Park, Archway, Highbury&Islington and Angel.

My Experience
I have experience working as a nanny from 2006 until 2015 with children aged from newborn to 10. Then I had a gap in nannying and returned to work to look after a baby in Nov 2021 and I’ve been a nanny again ever since. I can provide excellent references from my last 2 jobs.
I have experience as a full-time and part-time nanny, with babies, toddlers and school-aged children. I also worked with 3 sets of twins before.
My Qualifications
Pediatric First Aid certificate
I started Early Childhood Education at university, but I haven’t finished my degree.
DBS check
My Availability
I’m available for 3-4 full/almost full days. I’m flexible about days and times, however I’d like to have Fridays off. I can be flexible as much as I can if there’s an emergency or something unusual.
