My Experience

Last year I tutored a student who was struggling across her core subjects and not predicted to pass any. With my support she went on to pass them all with good grades—an experience I found hugely rewarding. Alongside this, I have several years’ experience working with children in different settings, including teaching, activity leading in one of the most competitive boarding schools in the UK and 5 years of nannying.

My Qualifications

I have 11 GCSEs at a 7 and above which I would feel fully qualified in Tutoring; Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, History, Spanish and Dance. I also did A levels in Politics, Philosophy and Psychology, AS Maths and Dance achieving good grades in all. I recently graduated with a BA in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Exeter and plan to begin my teacher training (PGCE) soon.
I can also provide my DBS upon request.

My Availability

I am available to take on a small number of tutoring students alongside my work in school. I can offer afterschool and weekend sessions.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
• Tutoring from £30.00 per hour

I charge £20 hourly for childcare and tend to stick with that unless far more is expected of me than what I expect (food preparation, activities, light school work etc).
Tutoring starts at £30 but is dependent on commute, hours and level.
