About Me
I’m Francesca, an Ofsted-registered childminder offering warm, patient and nurturing care in a small group from my home near Harrogate District Hospital.
Children’s safety, happiness and freedom to play are at the heart of Kimera Childminding. I want every child to feel known, secure and relaxed, with plenty of individual attention and time to explore at their own pace.
We usually go out each morning to enjoy local parks, playgrounds, groups or woodland walks. Afternoons are spent playing in the garden or in our dedicated childminding space, which was created especially for the children.
I aim to provide a calm, happy environment where children can play, build confidence and feel truly at home.
My Experience
I am an Ofsted-registered childminder, a qualified Parenting Coach and Life Coach, and a mother myself. These different roles have given me a strong understanding of children’s development, emotions, communication and individual needs.
I have experience caring for babies, toddlers and school-age children, supporting them through play, daily routines, outings, meals, rest and the many emotions that are part of growing up.
I believe children need warmth, patience, clear and consistent boundaries, and plenty of opportunities to play and explore. Because I care for a small group, I can get to know each child well, follow their interests and give them the individual attention they need.
I regularly update my professional training, including safeguarding, paediatric first aid and the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements.
My Qualifications
Ofsted-registered childminder.
Paediatric First Aid trained.
Safeguarding and Early Years training kept up to date through ongoing professional development.
Certified Parenting Coach and qualified Life Coach.
My Availability
I currently have potential availability for two children from September 2026, subject to confirmation from existing enquiries.
A further space is expected to become available from January 2027.
I offer care on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time. My usual hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, although times can be discussed depending on your family’s needs.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My private childcare rate is £7.00 per hour.
For funded places, the funded entitlement covers the childcare hours only. I offer freshly prepared meals, breakfast, snacks and drinks for £9.50 per day.
This food service is optional and arrangements can be discussed with parents.
Nappies, wipes and any specialist milk or dietary products should be provided by parents.
