After School Nanny With Special Needs Experience Job In Southampton
About Me
We are looking for an experienced, warm, and patient nanny or babysitter to support our two young children, Thomas and Alice.
About the children:
• Thomas is 30 months old (2.5 years) and has speech, language, and social delays, with a small amount of sensory-seeking behaviour.
• Alice is 18 months old (1.5 years) and is also showing some mild speech delay.
Both children have improved significantly since starting nursery and are lovely, happy children who benefit from regular engagement, play, and routine.
What we are looking for:
We would like someone once or twice a week for around 3 hours, on either Wednesday or Saturday, to spend quality time with the children either:
• at home, or
• at a play centre / child-friendly setting.
The role would include supporting:
• play-based learning
• speech and language development
• social skills and engagement
• confidence building
• potty training
• positive interaction and structured play
We are looking for someone who is:
• experienced with toddlers / young children
• patient, caring, and engaging
• confident supporting speech, language, and social development
• ideally experienced with developmental delay or SEN needs
• reliable and trustworthy
