My Summary

My Experience

I am a Childhood Studies University graduate who has worked with children for over ten years in a range of different settings such as schools, special needs settings, respite care, children's homes and nannying and baby sitting for multiple families. The last 7 years I have worked in specialist provisions for children with SEND/SEMH needs. I have experience with all ages from birth to 18.

Due to the job roles and environments I have had the opportunity to work in recent years I have developed my skills and knowledge in many areas regarding working with children. It has also lead me to opportunities to work with different professionals and given me access to endless amount of training.

My Qualifications

- BSc (Honours) Childhood Studies.
Notable modules: Social Work, Autism and the Needs of the Individual and Family, Multi-Agency Practice, Psychology, Sociology, Play Therapy, Language and Communication, Social Policy, Politics of Policy and a dissertation focused on challenging behaviour and complexed needs.

- Health and Social Level 3 Diploma.

Training includes - Paediatric First Aid, Asthma Training, Essential Safeguarding and Child Protection, Thrive Training, Sensory Regulation Training, Deep Pressure, Royal Lifesaving Society UK (Lifeguard), Trauma – In the classroom, Manual and People Handling Awareness, TEAM TEACCH, Attachment Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Online Safety for Children and Young People.

My Availability

Full time availability during school holidays, evening and weekend availability in term time.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

Fees can be discussed and agreed on depending on requirement.
