Hi, I’m Melissa, a birth and postnatal doula based in Romford, supporting families across Havering and East London.
As a mum myself, I understand how overwhelming pregnancy, birth and the early days with a newborn can feel. My aim is to offer calm, non-judgemental support so you feel confident, informed and never alone.
I provide emotional and practical support during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period, including newborn care, feeding support (breast and bottle) and overnight support so you can rest and recover.
I believe every family deserves to feel supported, listened to and empowered in their choices. I’m here to walk alongside you and support you in a way that feels right for you.

My Experience
I am a trained birth and postnatal doula, currently completing my certification, with a strong passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth and the early postnatal period.
As a mum, I have first-hand experience of the emotional and physical journey into motherhood, which allows me to offer empathetic and realistic support to other parents.
My training has covered pregnancy, birth physiology, informed decision-making, feeding support (breast and bottle), newborn care and the fourth trimester.
I am committed to providing calm, non-judgemental and evidence-based support, tailored to each family’s individual needs.
My Qualifications
I trained as a birth and postnatal doula with Developing Doulas and I am currently completing my certification. I am also paediatric first aid trained and fluent in both English and German, allowing me to support German-speaking families as well.
My Availability
I currently offer flexible availability across Romford, Havering and East London.
Postnatal and overnight support is available on weekdays and some weekends.
Birth support is offered with limited availability to ensure I can provide dedicated care to each family.
