About Me

Hey, my names Laura and I’m a third year University student at Manchester Metropolitan University. I love spending time outdoors and playing sports, but I also enjoy an indoor game too! My main strength as a Nanny is coming up with fun and creative games without technology!

My Experience

I have worked with kids for very long time considering my age. I started babysitting for family’s when I was 14. I have worked at a pre-school for kids aged 3 and 4. I have Nannied for a lovely family for around 6-8 months. There kids were aged 7 and 9 both wonderful boys, which loved the outdoors and extra-curricular activities. I have also worked in a summer camp in America full time to kids aged 7-16 girls and boys, this was an amazing experience and really helped me with the knowledge on how to care and meet the needs of children.

I have also recently was a nanny part time for a young girl aged 8 years old and a boy aged 15. Within this job I gave the girl swimming lessons one even a week, cooked dinners and came up with fun an and creative activities for us to do.

My Qualifications

I have a DBS certificate.
I have lifeguard and first aid training catered towards children.
I have GCSEs and A-levels working towards a University degree in psychology.
