About Me

I am 22 years old and a hardworking, positive thinking person. I am always willing to listen to helpful advice and constructive criticism that will help me move forward within my career. I am confident, adapt quickly to new environments and changes to my role/ business I work within. I take a flexible approach to work, making myself available at short notice and at the business needs. I consider myself both a team player and a leader of others. I am a relatable person and thrive on day-to-day interactions with others. My personal integrity is very important to me and the way I go about my work.

I have over 6 years’ worth of experience in Childcare with a vast amount of knowledge and transferable skills gained in that time. In these 6 years i completed my level 2 NVQ and level 3 NVQ in childcare. I am also a designated safeguard lead and I take this respectfully with pride to ensure all children are safe.


Current Employment
I am currently working as a pre school room leader where I train and help staff learn and develop their childcare skills.
I have also worked within the baby room and covering in the 2-3s room so having experienced all age groups.

My main responsibilities are;
Ensuring all staff are following policies and procedures
Every child is having an opportunity to learn and develop, at their own pace.
Every child is being looked after up to good standards this includes ensuring their routine is being followed, they eat/drink enough.

Additional Work
I regular do baby/ child sitting outside of my core working hours for ages 4 months - 8years old.
My responsibilities often include, sterilizing and prepping bottles, bath time, making dinner (including catering for allergies), putting to bed, dream feeds.
Other times, I will take children or babysitter on fun days out.
