About Me

Hi! My name is Amy and I’m 19 years old.
I am looking to offer babysitting during weekends and school holidays.
I have always had a passion for working with children and enjoy spending quality time with them. I have grown up caring for siblings and cousins who are much younger than myself.
I began volunteering with children at 14 when I became a young leader at my local brownie group.
At 16 I began volunteer work in a primary school and supported children of varying ages.
Now, I work as a full time teaching assistant at this school. As part of my role I regularly support children with additional needs 1:1.

My Experience

I have experience of babysitting for families in my local area, across a vast range of ages.
I have also volunteered and worked in my local primary school for the past 3 years. I have worked closely with children from the ages of 4-9 in this time.
I have experience in supporting children with many different additional needs.
I also have experience in caring for multiples. I have assisted with the day to day care of my twin siblings since they were newborn.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 certificate in both childcare and health and social care.
I also have a full DBS.
I am currently working towards a degree in primary education.
