My name is Rosie and I’m 26 currently working at a nursery located in Ushaw Moor. I work with 1-5 years of age and feel well equipped with children of any age. I enjoy fun activities, playing games, reading books and getting to know other people. I am easy going and sociable.
My Experience
As stated above, I work in a mixed age nursery and feel confident with a variety of ages. I have been working there since 2021 and am currently doing an apprenticeship to gain a level 3 childcare qualification. My past academic achievements are a 2:1 in Psychology at university and a Merit at masters level in Psychological Research Methods. I have also volunteered in the past for a befriending charity and started having 1-1 contact as a befriender for an 8 year old for 2 years. I am paediatric first aid trained. I would always be happy to meet you and your child(ren) before any babysitting was arranged as I know how important it is for you and the child to feel comfortable. I have babysat for coworkers and would be happy to provide references :)

My Availability
I work Monday - Friday, therefore, I would be available Evenings and Weekends. Possibly after school depending on my shift times and what time school finishes. Feel free to contact me :) I can also babysit at weddings and events.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
£7-£10 per hour depending on number of children, age and location. £15 per hour for babysitting at weddings or events.
