About Me
I’m Ellie and I have been working with ages from 3 months-4 years at a nursery for over a year, I have a passion for childcare and enjoy creating a fun learning environment for children! I have experienced a lot of milestones with the children in my care and enjoy sharing the moments with their families at pick up time! During free time I often babysit for some friends and families, I’d like to say I’m very reliable and trustworthy, I’m enthusiastic and caring! I enjoy doing a lot of reading and spending time outdoors. I value family time a lot and love spending time with them, I have 3 nieces and a nephew varying from 4-10 years old and I have so much fun spending time with them and watching them grow up!
My Experience
As I mentioned I have been working at a nursery for over a year now and have gained so much experience in that time, I have worked with children from 3 months- 4 years, I have experience working with SEN children and have spent a lot of time working with them and their families to find the best way to help them progress! My responsibilities included helping with mealtimes and depending on needs feeding the children or encouraging them to self serve, I was also nappy trained as well as bottle trained. I would also administer medication to children when necessary. I would plan activities throughout the day and have key children who I would focus on and plan the best way forward for their developments! I built a great relationship with the parents and children at work and would always be greeted with smiles and cuddles as soon as I walked through the door! I have had training on safeguarding, food, hygiene and paediatric first aid etc all throughout my time at the nursery and I am completing my level 3 early years educator apprenticeship at the moment!
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 in Health and Social Care and I am currently completing my Level 3 Early Years Educator!
My Availability
I am available Monday-Friday from 8am - 5pm, if you’re interested in any babysitting please let me know and I will see what I can do!
