About Me
hi i’m sophie (soph), im 19 from cheltenham and looking for a job within childcare.
i may not have tons of experience but i feel i’ve gained a lot through scouting and bring genuine benefits to you and your family.
i started by studying photography but during my time in college i went on a trip with my scout unit to switzerland and came back with the realisation this is what i want to do. i CAN NOT DRIVE but if it was needed i can walk or bus my way to where’s needed.
My Experience
although not much experience through a career i have experience through volunteering with scouting and guiding.
as a young leader (14-16) i volunteered through a brownie unit.
14-16i was a young leader with a beaver unit until unfortunately it couldn’t continue so i moved to cubs until 18 and becoming a until leader once old enough. this includes taking them on camps ( including ones abroad ) and planning weekly events including fundraisers.
i also did a few months in a nursery as a lunch cover but due to problems on the nursery’s behalf i decided not to continue there.
My Qualifications
i hold no qualifications with in childcare at this moment in time but have level 2 in photography and gcses behind me.
My Availability
unfortunately i can not work wednesdays at all or friday evenings(8-9:30 )due to the volunteering with scouts but i am available to work when else if needed.
