About Me
I have done my NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in preparing to work in home based childcare . I have completed my Full Paediatric First Aid Course and done training in FGM.I'm mother of two children one is girl and one boy.I'm Registered with ofsted registered agency which helps me to provide best Learning and development to children.
I offer healthy meals and snacks, as well as, a safe, warm and a welcoming environment for your child's learning and development.
I provide flexible hours with well equipped house and nice garden where children can learn to grow fruits and vegetables and play with outdoor toys.I provide best and safe care to children with homely environment where they learn ,explore and enhance their fine and gross motor skills. I love to arrange exciting and stimulating activities to ensure children are guided by their interests and can reach their full potential.
My Experience
I have a teaching experience .As I'm a mother of two I know how to deal with children and their behaviour.As a young person I took care of my much younger Nephew and Nieces . I have spend so much time with toddler that helps me to understand children's behaviour and their needs.How to make them calm and well behaved.
I Have good knowledge of safeguarding children and EYFS and how to implement

Funded places for children is available for 2-3 and 3-4 years old .
My Availability
I am open from 8.00am until 6.00 pm all year round.
I provide school drop-offs and pick-ups (Hildene primary School, however if you have a different school for collection, please ask, and I can advise if I can help.
I occasionally do weekends, due to my availability.

I have been sending my daughter to be looked after by Rafia since May this year for 4 days a week and she has flourished during this time. We unfortunately had a bad experience with another childminder prior to starting with Rafia, who did not allow us to have a settling in period and was generally terrible. My daughter struggled with not having me from day 1 and struggled with the childminder’s uncaring manner (as did I), and so we removed her from her care after 2 days.
We were lucky then to find Rafia who put us at ease and allowed us to settle her in nicely. My daughter was quite anxious due to the experience she’d had, but after a short time would happily go into Rafia’s house. She always has a great time and Rafia clearly loves looking after kids. She provides good meals and great activities and my daughter is always happy at the end of the day. I am at ease when I am at work knowing that she is safe and looked after. My daughter has learnt a lot, is much more sociable with other children and Rafia also encouraged us to potty train her, which I did not think that I would be able to do whilst working, but we managed with her support too. Rafia is also great with communicating with me, very approachable and friendly, and I would definitely recommend other parents to choose Rafia as a childminder

Review for Rafia
I am thrilled to recommend Rafia . as a childcare . Rafia has been with my daughter for a few months . From the beginning, she established a strong bond with my daughter , earning her trust and affection in quickly.
Rafia is incredibly reliable and punctual, which has given me great peace of mind. She has a natural talent for engaging children in creative and educational activities.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have her as part of my family and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and exceptional childcare.

Rafia along with her kids made sure my kids felt at home. Her place was clean and had lots of toys to play with. She also has a big garden where kids can play with garden toys. She was able to provide food according to what my kids liked. My kids left from there happy and safe. I highly recommend her service.
