My Experience

One of my most meaningful experiences has been babysitting and helping care for my newborn nephew. This role required a high level of responsibility, patience, and attention to detail. I assisted with feeding, changing nappies, settling him to sleep, and closely monitoring his needs to ensure he was safe and comfortable at all times. Caring for a newborn taught me how important routine, calmness, and quick problem-solving are, especially when responding to crying or changes in behaviour.

This experience also helped me develop strong time-management and communication skills, as I needed to follow instructions carefully and keep parents updated. Looking after my nephew strengthened my sense of responsibility and reliability, as I understood the trust placed in me. Overall, babysitting has been a valuable experience that improved my ability to care for others, stay calm under pressure, and remain attentive and dependable in important situations
