About Me
Hi, I am a stay at home mum, having adopted our 3rd child, 4 months ago. Am in need of some support as I am also project managing building a house for us and 3 under 5 is demanding! My husband works from home and is a lawyer for a small family firm. We have 3 adopted children who are all full siblings to each other - a 4 year old boy, a 3.5 year old boy and a 10 month old girl. The last two were not planned but we really wanted to keep them together. They are honestly amazing - funny kind sweet-natured kids but I am getting quite frayed and they just deserve more attention and love than I am managing to give.
I am therefore looking for an experienced someone who is nurturing and patient but also structured and able to set clear boundaries and who can be organised and hands on. We are flexible in terms of timings, days and chores, but pinch points are generally before school, after school and evening meals times (4-6.30).
We live a 10 minute drive from Cheltenham but in a lovely greenfield plot overlooking the park at Swindon village. I think most people will find this placement a genuine joy - the kids are so much fun!
My Requirements
After school
Structured play / Entertain kids - take to classes, outings or encourage their free play and provide reassurance and stimulation.
School Reading
Prepare early dinner - some days
Feed baby dinner
Baby bath routine
Washing up, clearing up after dinner
Tidying toys away
Light household - e.g sweeping floor, putting dirty bibs etc to wash, sterilise bottles, wipe table and worktops.
