My Summary

My Experience

I’ve been sole babysitting/nannying for 4 years now between the ages of 5 months and 14 years although i do have unique experience with newborns aswell having cared for my youngest sister (currently 3 years) for the first half of her life as my mother recovered from labour complications. I have experience working at the Lowry as a studio supervisor with early years and primary school age children doing art workshops and art classes with primary schools and am simply looking for something more personal, a child/children I can connect with and subsequently benefit more. I have worked with a family of 3 high-demand neurodivergent children (ages 3-9), working 60+ hours pw on top of being in part time education at the time, being the sole caregiver through bedtimes, bath times, meals, getting them ready/taking them to and from school and of course taking care of their emotional wellbeing. Aswell as another family of 3 children (ages 3-14) one of which has profound and multiple learning difficulties and as a result often displays violet behaviour. Often taking care of their cousins aswell, I routinely manage 7 children all within the same age range. I have also worked with a family of 2 children (ages 7months-2 years). I truly enjoy every aspect of my job, between sicknesses, injuries and meltdowns, there’s never been a day I’ve grown frustrated with the chaos. I have built long-lasting, loving relationships with all the children under my care and their families and I very much wish to carry on my work with children for the foreseeable future

My Qualifications

GCSEs - Mandatory subjects aswell as In depth Biology, History, Latin, Psychology, Sociology
Level 3 Social Sciences - Psychology, Sociology and Criminology
Plan to study Educational Psychology at university then get my PGCE
