My Requirements

Both our kids are enthusiastic and inquisitive and full of energy. Eva (13) loves reading, roller skating and Gracie Abrams. Nye (10) loves football, playing the drums and Michael Jackson. Both love youtube probably a bit more than is healthy!!

We are looking for someone available on Thursdays and Fridays after school + evenings. You will need to pick up Nye from Kerr Mackie Primary School and bring him home. We live near Oakwood Clock so it’s a 15 min walk. Eva walks home from high school by herself. You will need to make both kids dinner on Thursdays and Fridays and oversee homework and gently remind them to do their chores - cleaning out their lunch bags and emptying the dishwasher etc.

Like most kids they can be a bit cheeky so we are looking for someone who is kind and fun to be around, but also firm enough to enforce family rules about things like healthy eating, screentime and bedtimes!! We would love someone with an interest in art and craft who might be able to lure the kids away from devices.

Hours - Thursdays is 5.30-9.30 pm ish and would include making dinner and putting Nye to bed. Fridays would be 3.30-7.30pm ish and include dinner and the odd playdate but no bedtime duties.

This would be a great job for a student or someone looking to earn a bit of money on a year out. Driving licence and own car preferred but not essential.
