Hello, my name is Jo Bass and I am a local nanny.
Over the years, I have worked in nurseries, preschool settings, private nannying roles, wedding venues and hotel guest childminding giving me a wide range of experience with children at different stages of development. I am passionate about creating a safe, caring, and fun environment where children can grow, learn, and feel supported.
I have experience with daily routines, meal preparation, educational play, bedtime routines, and providing one-to-one care tailored to each child’s individual needs. I also have experience supporting multiple children at once and helping families with day-to-day household tasks.
I pride myself on being patient, trustworthy, and approachable, and I love building strong relationships with both children and parents.
I am available full time with a September start, also avalible for a small amount of ad hoc care too.
I am a very happy and bubbly person, love to be outdoors, get messy with the children and cook/bake!
My Experience
I have 7 years of experience working in childcare. I have cared for children from newborns through to 10 years old, supporting families with a warm, reliable, and nurturing approach.
My Qualifications
Level 3 childcare (early years diploma)
Paediatric first aid
I am DBS checked and am on the update service!

My Availability
Available for nannying from September, small amount of ad hoc care available too!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (net)
£20 an hour for 1-2 children, £25 an hour for 3 children. Minimum of 5hrs as I would have to turn away a full morning/ afternoon.
