My Requirements

We have a gorgeous nearly four year old boy (B4) and a beautiful daughter (G1) who is approaching her first birthday.
B4 has been cared for by a Norland nanny since he was eight months old and is now enjoying his pre-school years. He is affectionate, curious, chatty and increasingly independent, with a wonderful sense of humour. He loves vehicles, including cars, monster trucks, diggers and trains, as well as building blocks, colouring and painting, and cuddly toys. He enjoys sharing stories, exploring the world around him and getting involved in everyday activities such as cooking and baking.
G1 is a joy to be with. She is a delightful, curious little girl who is growing and developing rapidly.
We are looking for a warm, nurturing nanny who will enjoy getting to know her and supporting her development through play, outings, stories and the everyday routines of family life.
B4 attends pre-school during the week, so the role will primarily focus on G1 during his pre-school hours, with care for B4 before and after pre-school and during pre-school holidays.
The successful candidate will enjoy building a close relationship with both children and supporting their individual needs as they grow.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm. The role is sole charge.
We (Mum and Dad) both work in full time hybrid roles. As such, the nanny should be comfortable working independently while also communicating and collaborating with us during handovers at the start and end of the day.
We are looking for someone warm, gentle, reliable, organised and proactive, who will fit naturally into our family dynamic. We would love to find a nanny who is genuinely interested in the children's development, enjoys planning engaging and age-appropriate activities, and will help create a happy, stimulating and nurturing environment.
The role will include:
- providing attentive, nurturing care for G1 during the day, supporting her development through play, activities, outings and established routines.
- caring for B4 before and after pre-school, including helping him prepare for his day and supporting transitions to and from pre-school.
- providing care for both children during pre-school holidays and at other times when required.
- preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children, including B4's packed lunches.
- keeping the children's play and activity areas organised and welcoming.
Candidates should have:
- a relevant formal childcare qualification.
- an up to date DBS check.
- a current paediatric first aid certificate.
- a full, valid driving licence.
We are looking for someone who would like to stay with us on a long-term basis and grow with the family as the children develop.
