My Experience

I have my SVQ 3, Social services, Children and Young people.

My most recent employment is within London, I’m working as a private nanny for a family in Ealing. The children are a little older therefore I’m generally based on morning and afterschool hours. The children are ages 9 & 11, and I am here to keep the house running smoothly whilst having lots of fun with the children.

Previously I worked in Sardinia, Italy. As a childcare leader. My key responsibilities were making the children have the most memorable summer! Doing lots of fun indoor and outdoor water sports activities, whilst ensuring they were safe in my care. Children age 0-17. Each week I was based within a different age group, therefore I have a vast amount of experience from little babies all the way up to young adult teenagers.

Another previous roll within childcare, French alps, France. Again I was a childcare leader. But I was based within 4 different chalets where I would attend the family’s holiday home at 8am in the morning and take the children into local town during the day and do lots of fun activities, I would make lunch and eat with the children. And also drop them off and collect them from there ski schools whilst parents were busy through the day. Children’s ages were 0-12.

I have also worked in Greece, as a childcare leader, which was in a holiday resort. It was within a kids club. Throughout the day we would do lots of activities with the children, including going to the beach, swimming pool, chilling in the shade and playing games age appropriately. This was children ages 0-17.

Before travelling with work i previously worked within a primary school as a teachers assistant for 1 year, working alongside children with special needs ages 0-13.

I also worked in a private nursery, In this job role I am dedicated to creating a stimulating, encouraging, safe atmosphere for each child’s individual needs. My key responsibilities throughout my current job include
• Supporting the nursery group ages 0-5
• Managing food and snack preparation and accommodating for allergies and dietary requirements.
• Looking after children both individually and in small groups.
• Leading group activities and coordinating out door activities.
• Taking initiative when occupying children during sudden poor weather or changes to circumstances
• Responding quickly to emergency situations, remaining calm whist under pressure.
• Encouraging children in being polite and kind to others.
• Understanding the developmental needs of children, nurturing their growth and emotional wellbeing.

My Fees

• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
