Hi I'm Ella! I’m a recent graduate from Newcastle University with a degree in French and English Literature. I’ve always enjoyed working with children and am now looking to build on my previous experience in childcare. I’m responsible, patient, and creative, and I love helping children learn and grow through engaging activities and play. My Experience
I have experience working as an English teacher at a primary school in France, where I cared for and taught children aged 2–11 in a bilingual environment. I also have over four years of regular babysitting experience with children aged 4–13 in my hometown of York. My responsibilities included collecting children from school and extracurricular activities, preparing meals, assisting with homework, and settling them for bed. During school holidays, I often provided full-day childcare, planning and leading activities to keep children entertained and engaged. In addition, I have worked as a GCSE Maths tutor, supporting students in building confidence and improving their academic performance.
My Qualifications
While not having any official qualifications, I have got relevant work experience and would be happy to get a DBS check if required
My Availability
Monday until 4pm, all day Tuesday, all day Wednesday, Thursday after 3:30pm, Friday until 7pm
