My Experience

I am currently studying a Childhood and Youth Studies degree and have 7 months of professional experience working in a nursery setting, supporting children across a range of ages. Through my role, I have helped create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn, develop and have fun.

My experience includes supporting daily routines, planning and leading activities, encouraging children’s independence, and building positive relationships with both children and their families. I am passionate about helping children grow in confidence and enjoy creating age-appropriate activities that are both educational and enjoyable.

Alongside my nursery experience, I have completed first aid training and understand the importance of safeguarding, health and safety, and providing high-quality care. I am a reliable, caring and patient individual who genuinely enjoys working with children and helping families feel confident that their children are in safe hands.

My Qualifications

• Currently studying a BA in Childhood and Youth Studies
• 7 months’ professional experience working in a nursery setting
• Paediatric/First Aid Training (if held)
• Enhanced DBS Check (if held)
• GCSEs including English and Mathematics
• Experience supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing through play-based activities
• Knowledge of safeguarding, child development and inclusive practice
