About Me

Hello! I’m a 26 year old SEN Teaching Assistant. Working with children is my passion and what I am extremely dedicated to and am fulfilled by. Outside of work, I have a big love for theatre and performing, and I enjoy anything outdoorsy - especially hiking in the mountains!

My Experience

I have roughly 7 years of experience working with children and young people, mainly supporting those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or challenging behaviour. I currently work as an SEN Teaching Assistant, and I love helping children feel confident, understood, and happy in their learning and daily routines.

I have experience:
- Supporting children with a wide range of needs, including learning, social, and behavioural challenges
- Creating fun, engaging, and tailored activities that help children grow and develop
- Managing challenging behaviour with patience, understanding, and positive strategies
- Working closely with families, teachers, and other professionals to provide consistent support
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for every child

I’m passionate about helping every child feel valued and confident, and I bring patience, creativity, and care to everything I do.

My Qualifications

My highest qualification is a Certificate of Higher Education in Psychology. In addition to this, I have completed vast amounts of training within education; including safeguarding, first-aid and epilepsy training to name a few.
