My Requirements

Part Time Nanny
Special Needs Experience

My son is nearly 5 years old. He is a very bright and happy child in general. He goes to a resource base at a mainstream school. He is a smart child who is emotionally intelligent and a quick learner. He is speech delayed in the sense that he wont speak to communicate mostly. He uses gestures, takes people hands to things, guides them or uses shared attention. He is under OT and SALT. OT are mostly working on his sensory issues. We need a very caring, sweet, softspoken and above all a trust worthy and patient nanny who can look after our son when we both are at work in his school holidays i.e last week of May and first week of June, barring the bank holiday in May last week. His grandma will also be at home, but all tasks including trying to potty train him as well as cleaning him when he poops in a diaper- as he is not potty trained yet, and other labour intensive tasks will fall on the nanny, grand ma will get involved but only uptill interaction and presence. We will ideally need the nanny present at 8 am and up untill 4 pm. From 26th may till 29th May and then 1st- 5th June. As both me and dad work full time. Being friendly, helpful, very sweet, very patient is our utmost priority and ofcourse having SEN experience and also contributing to his learning in that time. He can go to the park/ outside however he tends to be very difficult to get hold of when he is running around in a park and needs supervision lest he does something that can harm him including mouthing inedible things or running out on the road for instance- danger perception for some things is very low with him. If this works for us and the person is very punctual and regular and reasonable rates we will keep a nanny again then for some other time as well when needed. Our first language is URDU and our son ofcourse understands both and speaks in english

Rimshah was nanny for our son for 4-5 months. Our son really likes playing with her. She’s very active, resourceful and knows what keeps kids happy.
The only reason I am not giving a 5 star rating is that even though when she comes she comes on time but she took many days off with us and our son’s pre existing attachment issues worsened due to that due to inconsistent care provision. Mondays were almost always taken off. And as the time went on the inconsistent coming in became more and more frequent.
She is an amazing nanny when she comes but kids do need consistency with the one person who’s coming in to look after them and play with them for 4 hours in the week days.
She is also very good at giving advice due to the large amount of experience with kids that she has if only regularity could be worked upon. Or some days can just be taken off the schedule of availability when making time is difficult to be a nanny as well.
