My Experience

Hi I would be interested in the position I’m looking at returning to work after raising my own family of 3 2 boys and a girl youngest is now 19.I worked as a nanny for 3 families over a long period of time firstly with twin girls and a 7 year old boy, Secondly with a family of 3 baby girl newborn and 2 school age children. The third family I worked for a year boy and girl before leaving to raise my own family. I loved being a nanny and helped with school work taught the children to swim helped that I also worked part time as a life guard and swimming teacher, I made art sculptures and painting was a favourite of the children. While the little ones had a nap I either walked them through the local park for fresh air or done light house work. Tidy children’s rooms put away groceries and helped prepare the family dinner. I also took the children to and from school which was a short drive away mostly one family to Hutchison grammar and the Jewish primary in south Glasgow also to the private girls school sorry can’t remember the name. I also worked as a life guard and swimming instructor with the council and the private club RSAC. I also worked as a play worker for One plus single parents and managed my own team in a Primary school before being made redundant due to the company going into liquidation.
I haven’t worked for 21 years but it won’t take me long to get back into the swing of things I’ve had my own family keeping me on my toes. My family are 23 year old son is an Emergency service worker, 21 year old son in his final year at Glasgow University and my 19 year old daughter who is Autistic and ADHD she has profound difficulties and has verbal tics which can be very challenging. I have worked with a variety of children through the years and hope this will stand me in a good position.
