About Me
I am a happy, bubbly and confident person. I have two wonderful children, 15 and 11 who are now in boarding school locally. I believe that good manners are important, self-belief and eating healthily. (most of the time!).
I love to travel, foreign languages, cook, read, the outdoors and enjoy our stunning beaches regardless of the season! I enjoy playing and writing music, flowers, skiing and theatre. I love all animals but not large dogs. Although I love travelling it’s always wonderful to be home in this beautiful part of the UK!
I live in a smoke free, pet free home.
My Experience
I’ve been teaching and working with children for 25 years in Paris, Valence and the UK, all subjects to ages 2+, all subjects in independent and non- independent schools to pupils with all abilities and individual needs. My favourite age to teach is primary and junior. I teach in person and online. I work in the local church crèche to support with childcare during Sunday service and at the church foodbank.
I have an updated DBS, Safeguarding Certificates levels 1 and 2, Public Liability Insurance and First Aid training.
Interests and Hobbies
I became a professional dancer when I was younger working for the Royal Ballet and have since worked in production and choreography.
My Qualifications
9 GCSEs all grades A-B, 3 A levels all grades B (French, Spanish and Music), BA Hons in French and Spanish 2:1 at the University of Southampton and PGCE in primary French and Spanish in which I passed at the Institute of of Education, University of London.
I am currently studying applied linguistics.
