Hi, I’m Maxine! I’m currently studying for my A-Level qualifications in English, History and Maths. I am based in Greenwich. I would love to to take on the responsibility of looking after a child after their school day, ensuring they get home safely, have a nutritious and yummy meal for dinner, help with any homework and getting their bag ready/ lunch ready for the next day! I want to make sure parents feel that their child is in responsible hands and also provide a warm and nurturing environment for the child!
My Experience
I was a Nursery Voluneteer at Blackheath High School for Girls’ After School Club, where I ensured the girls had their afternoon tea, played with them outside (ensuring they got some fresh air, weather-permitting) and overall making the girls feel looked after while providing a safe and fun environment before they went home.
Additionally, I volunteered at the Greenwich Tae Kwon-Do kids' session on Saturday mornings, where I focused on organizing various fun activities to boost the children's confidence and enhance their progress in Tae Kwon-Do. I also cultivated a friendly atmosphere, encouraging them to seek extra support whenever needed.
