After communicating everything including my child’s autism needs Lucy did not show up on the day of arranged tutoring. This left my autistic daughter wondering where she was and waiting for her for 45 minutes before finally getting a text nearly an hour after the time she was supposed to arrive.
Due to my daughters autism she had been preparing for this for days dealing with anxiety of a new person and then being left sat there with no explanation to where her tutor was for nearly an hour on the day.
I understand things can happen and cancelling has to happen but the excuse was forgetting to cancel and you have to remain at a professional standard when you are dealing with children and especially those that are SEN.
If you need to cancel you need to do it (or someone else) in reasonable time.
