My Requirements

We are looking for a permanent part-time Nanny to work 3 days a week. The hours are 8am-6pm preferably Wednesday to Friday but we may be able to offer some flexibility on days. Sometimes we would be able to offer extra ad hoc hours.

Our 2.5 yr (33 month) old daughter is an enthusiastic, adventurous wee one. She loves music, singing, being outdoors and adores animals. She enjoys being active and is now scooting and biking at slightly hair-raising speeds! She’s got a wonderful perspective on life and the world, and she’s learning to entertain herself for periods of times - we often overhear her acting out her favourite activities with her toys (like soft play or singing groups!). Incredibly cute. She’s bilingual and talking about everything.

The main daily tasks are very standard for a two year old, and range from preparing and clearing up three meals a day, a daily nap after lunch, outings to the park/soft play/museum, or playgroups etc. Going on walks/scoots. Or overseeing playtimes at home/ garden plus light housework such as laundry and some grocery shopping.

We both work from home quite a bit so are on hand to answer questions etc. The role requires some flexibility because my husband and I are sometimes at home and we value being able to interact with our daughter from time to time when we can fit it around our other commitments. So it is not purely a sole charge role, but this appeals to the nannies we’ve employed previously as it's more sociable and interactive with us being around.
