Gretchen
Nanny in London: Tower Hamlets (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
Hello! I'm Gretchen, an English Literature graduate from the University of St Andrews with several years of childcare experience caring for children aged 5–11.
Over the years I've provided regular childcare, including full-time summer care for three children, after-school volunteering, and supporting children with homework, reading, creative activities, meals, and outings. I love creating a calm, engaging environment where children feel safe while having fun.
I enjoy encouraging children's curiosity through books, arts and crafts, music, baking, outdoor adventures, museums, and imaginative play. I would love to teach children some of my favourite hobbies, including sewing, guitar, crochet, painting, and writing. I'm equally happy helping with homework, reading together, organising activities, preparing simple meals, or managing after-school routines.
Families I've worked with have rehired me over several years and recommended me to other families, which is something I'm very proud of. I value reliability, kindness, and clear communication with parents, and I aim to make each child feel supported and encouraged. I have excellent references from the families I have worked with. I am happy to come for an interview to make sure I'm the right fit for you and your family.
I'm currently based in London and looking for part-time or flexible childcare opportunities.
