I am a Level 3 qualified practitioner, and have worked in nurseries for 7 years, during which time I have gained my qualification and love of working with and teaching children. I have been fortunate to spend time in ages 0-5 and have gained good knowledge of the learning and development stages in each of these ages, using the EYFS. I have been able to form good working relationships with the parents of the children I care for, and able to work in partnership with them (and outside agencies) to help in their child's learning and development. During my nursery experience, I have worked with a variety of early education approaches, including the nurture approach, Montessori, Emilia Reggio, just to name a few. I am confident using Makaton sign with children who aren't yet talking or struggle to communicate, and have a wealth of experience working with children with SEND.

Through working with these families, I have found that lots of them are in need of additional childcare over the weekends, which is why I would like to take the opportunity to help out local families should they need some extra childcare because of work etc. with the cost of living rising.
