About Me

I am fully registered with an OFSTED registered Childminding Agency and offer high quality home from home childcare, with an emphasis on safe and fun learning through play, led by the children's interests, in both an indoor and outdoor environment. Some regular activities will include nature walks, visits to local playgroups and the library, in addition to baking ,singing, dancing, gymnastics, art activities and stories. I will be offering quality indoor play, covering all aspects of the EYFS curriculum framework. I have been operating as childminder for 2 years now and have undergone two Quality Assurance visits from my childminding agency. This visit covers the same aspects as a full OFSTED inspection would, but happens annually, rather than upto every 4 years with OFSTED, meaning you can rest assured I am upto date on all the latest early years requirements. Some of the comments I received from my latest QA visit include "Children thrive in this warm and welcoming setting." "Strong, respectful relationships underpin the children's experience." and "....a nurturing, stimulating environment.....where learning, fun and their wellbeing is at the heart of everything."

My Experience

I have worked with children aged 0-11 years for over 30 years in a variety of settings, including Baby Rooms, Nurseries, Reception and Key Stage 1 and 2 as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. I have worked with SEND children and also children with physical\medical needs, such as diabetes, serious allergies and cystic fibrosis. My focus is always the welfare and happiness of the child in my care.

B.A Hons in Childcare and Education (1st Class)

I currently have availability on a Monday and Tuesday, from 7.30am-17.30pm and offer Funded placements during term time across the 9 month- 5 year age range. I am am currently open during school holidays.
