About Me
I live in Hove, with my husband and 3 sons. We love cycling, running, paddle boarding, as well as all enjoying playing musical instruments together.
My Experience
I have been a Primary School teacher for 20 years. I am able to raise standards in Maths and English, and increase a child’s confidence, whether they are falling behind in class, need to catch up after covid, or require extra preparation for year 2 and Year 6 SATS.
My specialist subject and passion is Music. I am Grade 8 piano and flute and I sing in a weekly choir.

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of having Kerensa as our daughter’s tutor, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very first session, it was clear that Kerensa has a special gift for teaching. She combines learning with fun in the most creative ways—clever games, engaging activities, and a kind, understanding approach that makes every lesson something our daughter truly looks forward to.
Our daughter has 2-hour tutorials with Kerensa and, incredibly, she never wants them to end. That alone speaks volumes. We’ve never seen her so excited to study before. Kerensa has managed to turn what used to be a struggle into something joyful and inspiring.
One of the highlights of each lesson is the last 15 minutes, which are dedicated to piano. Kerensa’s fantastic music background adds a unique and enriching touch to the sessions, and our daughter absolutely loves it.
Kerensa is not only knowledgeable and skilled, but also incredibly kind, funny, and patient. Thanks to her, our daughter has not only caught up with her studies, but is now thriving—and dreaming big. We truly couldn’t imagine a better tutor to support her journey.
