About Me
I’m a young babysitter/nanny, meaning it’s easy for me to connect with children from any age range, even teens or preteens as they see me as closer to their age and get along with me more. I’m caring, responsible, and I’m sensible. I’m also very adventurous and have a very good imagination, so I can keep any child entertained and doing fun activities, catered to their age, interests and hobbies. I have a 9 year old sister and a 7 year old brother with totally opposite personalities, so I am very used to making up imaginative games, creating stories, and creative activities. I’m able to do school pickups if needed as I have a full clean driving license and my own car. Personally I prefer babysitting children in their own home, it’s my opinion that children feel more secure and settled with an adult when they’re in an environment they’re comfortable and used to. I can also do weekend and evenings to give parents the break they need to do something for themselves. I work within a Primary School already, so I am familiar with all safeguarding, levels of conduct and safety levels required.
My Experience
While I don’t have traditional Childminding qualifications, I’ve had experience with children from age ranges of 3-15 in extracurricular activities to build confidence. I also have babysat children from 5-10 for the last two years. And I work in education in a busy Primary School.
My Qualifications
I have excellent GCSE’s and A-Levels. Due to my consistent high results, I would also be able to help with tutoring if needed in Maths and English. I also speak intermediate Welsh Language and am continuing my knowledge through Welsh courses within work. So if you’re interested in your child knowing bits and pieces in Welsh for school etc (colours, numbers, the weather, introductions and sentences) I would be able to reinforce that in the home.
My Availability
I work Monday-Friday 8-4, however I am available around this.
