We have our baby girl Rya who is 14 months old. My partner is a teacher at Reach and I have recently left the teaching profession to start my new career at Heathrow, where I will be doing shift work.
My Requirements
I’m currently looking for a childminder.
My partner is a teacher over at Reach Academy. I have recently left the teaching profession as both of us teaching with a young child just won’t work.
Our daughter is 14 months old and I will be starting shift work at Heathrow in April. We would need the childcare to start from around May time.
As I’m doing part-time but will sometimes do overtime, we would need a few days each week but they could be subject to change as my roster would be 2 days on and then 4 days off. In the next couple of weeks Heathrow will give me my roster a year ahead.
Once I start, I am hoping to work set days.

Clare is an absolutely wonderful childminder, and we could not recommend her highly enough. Our daughter, Rya has been with her since she was just 14 months old, and as she prepares to leave for school, we are realising just how incredibly lucky we have been to have her in our lives.
As a shift worker, finding reliable childcare can be hugely stressful, but Clare has been an absolute lifesaver. Her incredible flexibility has been a massive support to our family, and she has always accommodated my unpredictable schedule with understanding and ease. We truly could not have managed without her.
Beyond the safe, loving, and enriching environment she provides for the children, Clare is also a true pillar of our local area. She does so much fantastic work for the local community, and it has been wonderful for our daughter to grow up around this.
We are so sad that our time with her is coming to an end, but we are deeply grateful for the wonderful start she has given our daughter. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her!
