About Me
Hello, I'm Jill from Edinburgh where I currently reside. I have a long and varied experience working with, and alongside children of all ages and stages, and with their families and carers. I love to socialise meet up with friends, watch the latest TV show or movie. My passion is reading, I am currently working on writing a novel, and photography, where I try to get out and about as much as possible.
My Experience
I have extensive child care experience from my life long involvement with other children due to my mum being a Childminder, to volunteering at my local Sunday Club as a teacher, qualifying as a Nursery Nurse, working as an Au Pair in the USA, as a Youth Project Worker, and now as a Paediatric Nurse and Part Time Nanny.
I love children, they bring so much joy, they challenge me and sometimes make me cry but I find it even more rewarding getting to know them as individuals and watching them grow. Help towards making life fun and rewarding for them, helping them to learn and to assist in them coping, embracing and understanding the world around them is a vocation i love to do.
All opportunities interacting with children and their families helps me to gain a greater understanding of children's early years, youth and adolescence and develop my quality of care delivery.
I'm a very easy going, compassionate person and willing to challenge myself. Team work and good communication is very important in establishing strong links and I will always be open and willing to work together in making a safe, happy and reliable environment for children to thrive in.

• NC Early Education and Childcare: Achieved grade A.
Aug 1996 – June 2002: Forrester High School, Edinburgh.
• 7 Intermediate's: English, Maths, Woodwork, History. 7 Standard Grades: Biology, Computing, English, French, History, Maths, Chemistry. 7 Higher Module's: Biology, History, English.

- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
Weekdays(8am-6pm)- £14p/h.
Weekdays(6-7pm)- £14.50p/h.
Weekends(9am-5pm)- £15p/h
Babysitting(negotiable times)- £15p/h
