About Me
Hi and welcome to Little Bears - nature exploring childcare.
My name is Lucie and I have been working in Dorset mental health services for almost 10 years, including adults, elderly and children. I am mum to my two boys Adam and Maxim. I love the idea of sharing my experiences and helping children to grow emotionally, physically and educationally. I will provide a happy, nurturing environment where children will explore and express themselves freely.
I will be spending the majority of the time outside, this includes beach, forest, woods, national parks and playparks etc. Nature has so many benefits for children's development and mental health. I am a National trust member and we will be exploring as much as we can. I will incorporate a forest learning in my settings too.
We will be visiting the library on a weekly basis, joining their singing group. We will be joining in activities such as planting new trees etc.
I live with my fiancé Lewis and two boys in a big house on a quiet cul-de-sac with a large garden. We love spending time as family, we go for bike rides, to the beach and exploring. We also love playing games such as dominos, puzzles, Lego or memory games.
