About Me

Small Group Tuition in a Calm, Nurturing Environment – Cleckheaton

I am an experienced primary teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience, now offering small group tuition for children aged 4–11 from my home in Cleckheaton.

My sessions provide a calm, welcoming and supportive environment where children can develop confidence, enjoy learning and achieve their potential. I believe children learn best when they feel calm, happy and truly seen. With my extensive experience, I am skilled at recognising the small steps in learning as well as the barriers that may be preventing a child from making progress.

I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and am a licensed Thrive Practitioner, specialising in supporting children’s emotional wellbeing alongside their academic development. I am also a licensed Reading Recovery practitioner with extensive expertise in helping children become successful, confident readers.

Small Group Tuition
• Maximum of 6 children per group
• £20 per child per session
• Personalised support within a friendly, collaborative learning environment

Small groups allow children to receive targeted teaching while benefiting from positive peer interaction and encouragement from others.

Home-educated children are very welcome.
